Happy Sunday! I hope yall had a good weekend so far. I actually spent my weekend doing
homework, working on content and hanging with my guy. I'm trying to stay productive and I will long as I stay organized. I highly recommend yall getting a planner. It has really helped so far. Today, I attended church and received an awesome Word from Pastor D. After, me and grandma went to Logans Roadhouse to chow down on some ribs(I've been talking about them for weeks😂) Moving along, Alabama weather has been so crazy lately. We were under a tornado watch most of the day yesterday. It was super gloomy and hot. Then today, it was cool and sunny lol.
So since it was more on the cool side, I was very excited to wear some of my new winter clothes. I wore a colorful, fuzzy, cropped sweater that I purchased from JCPenney. It was from their Arizona line. Yall, this sweater was so comfortable and soft. I seriously need to go see if they still have some in the store. They had so many different colors. I purchased this in a size 2x and it was $12(Before Christmas sale). It's very stretchy and flattering.
When it came to what jeans I wanted to pair it with, I had a hard time deciding. I knew I wanted to wear my high-waisted denim bell-bottoms, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to wear dark-wash or light-wash. After trying each pair on, I went with the dark-wash. It provided a nice contrast. I purchased these jeans from Its Fashion and they are the YMI brand. YMI jeans have been around years and they are sold in multiple stores. They were so comfortable and stretchy, but also allowed a great fit which you expect in jeans. I purchased these in size 14W and they were $27.99.
Lastly, I paired this outfit with my Pierre Dumas tan booties I purchased from Shoe Dept some months ago. You can hardly see them because my bell-bottoms are covering them. I'm an usher at church, so I had to make sure I had on comfortable shoes. These are in a size 8.5 W and they were $20. Shoe Dept. still has these booties available. As for accessories, I just wore some silver hoops also purchased from Its Fashion.
