Hey yall! So last night I went on a date and decided to showcase my look. I got home late, so I wasn't able to blog about it until now. We decided to go to the movies and see Bad Boyz for Life, which perfectly made sense since we're both action junkies. The movie was amazing and had a lot of twists, which I will not tell. It's a must-see trust me! After the movies, we wanted something good to eat. Olive Garden was open until 11, so that's where we ate. I ordered the Lasagna Classico and my date ordered the Smoked Mozzarella Shrimp Rigatoni. Of course, we had unlimited salad and breadsticks. The meal was amazing and we had a great time talking. Overall, the night was great.
It was very cold last night, so it was necessary to dress warmly. Therefore, that's why I went with the outfit. The main piece of the outfit was my bedazzled-like leather coat. I purchased this coat about 2 months ago from Forever 21 and I've been very excited to wear it. The weather is so unpredictable here in Alabama, so it's been in the closet. I just love the chain and pearl details on the shoulder. It made it very chic and bad a** at the same time. I'm wearing a 3x and it cost 23.99 because they had a sale. It was very comfortable and indeed warm to an extent. It was extra windy and cold last night. I'm thinking about adding a fur underlayer to the inside to provide some insulation. Underneath I had on a white tank, which I purchased from Target. As for the jeans, they were high-waisted and purchased from FashionNova. They were in a size 2x. Lastly, I wore my new Steve Madden- Madden Girl combat boots. They complemented the coat well because they were both leather. They are so comfortable. I purchased these in a size 9 from Belk, but they can be bought anywhere. I actually saw them on sale at Shoe Carnival for about $45. As for accessories, I just wore some cubic zirconia studs from Catos Fashion. They were only $3.99.
