Hey Yall! It's the first day of Fall and I'm so excited. Alabama is finally cooling down and it's the perfect time to bring out those booties and cardigans. I have been waiting for this cool weather especially since I have a skin condition that doesn't tolerate heat too well. If you stay in Alabama, then you know this heat hasn't been playing at all this summer. Besides that, I'm looking forward to wearing my fall wardrobe. Fall is my favorite season and mainly because I love the colors, like burgundy, olive green, mustard yellow, and burnt orange. I also love the moment when the leaves start to change colors because it makes for a beautiful background.
Moving on, to celebrate the first day of Fall, I will showcase one of my new favorite outfits. The star of the show is this Paisley Kimono from Boohoo Plus. This Kimono was a must-buy and mostly because the colors scream Fall. I'm wearing a size US 20. I usually get a size 18, but I love my kimonos, cardigans, etc very big. They flow much better when they are slightly oversized. As for the price, it was only $13.82. That's definitely a steal. If you didn't know Boohoo always has sales.
I paired this with a simple, black camisole from Target. It's from the brand A New Day and I'm wearing a size XXL. These camisoles are so comfortable and can be worn with anything. I especially love the lace-trim neckline. They only cost $8 and come in a variety of colors.
As for the jeans, I'm wearing the high-waisted, distressed, skinny leg jean from A.N.A. This brand is sold exclusively at JCPenney. Our store is closing their doors soon so I only paid $17 and that's included with my rewards and percentage off(Original price- $44). The size I'm wearing is an 18. One of the main reasons why I love these jeans is the comfortability of them. I hate I didn't get more initially because now they are sold out in my size.
To conclude, I have to tell you about my shoes and accessories. Shoes and accessories are what make the outfit complete. As for these booties, they are everything. I love the peek-a-boo detail on the sides. That's actually one of the main reasons why I bought them(besides them being blackđ). I also love the brass detailing on the shoe buckle. These were purchased from Charlotte Russe before they closed and I only paid $20 for them. I'm wearing a size 9 and a key note is they are wide-width friendly.
As for the accessories, I wanted to incorporate leaves since my kimono has some so I decided to wear some gold, leaf earrings from SHEIN. I also wore a gold leaf statement necklace to complement the earrings. The necklace came from Charlotte Russe and I've had it for some years. You can find the cutest accessories at Charlotte Russe. They are affordable and very durable.
