Hey Yall! I know it's been a while since I posted! Today I don't have any fashion to showcase. This is just an update on what's going on in my life right now. May has been really busy and plus I been having some serious writer's block. I'm trying to think of new ideas for the blog. This pandemic and the recent events of these senseless killings have really been getting to me. The killing of George Floyd just really did something to me. I just don't understand how someone who is supposed to protect us hurt us instead, but it's amazing to see everyone in the world join together to shine a light of what we've been going through. People from different walks of life are standing together for social justice. We, as a people, are supposed to love one another. God didn't create us to hate.
On a positive note, I officially got my Master's degree on May 9th and the ceremony is taking place in August. I'm currently looking for jobs, but during this time it's kind of hard. Sometimes I get discouraged, but I know something will come through. As long as I keep my faith in God and continue to pray, I know I will be alright. I'm even venturing out and starting to style again. I'm also a new curvy model for a local boutique, Posh and Paige. Even if everything is not going to plan, I'm still able to accomplish what I want. Stay tuned because new content is coming. I will also be doing some giveaways for my first year anniversary of Just Being LaKedra! Love yall and continue to pray for our country because we really do need it.
