Happy Sunday Yall! Welcome back to Just Being LaKedra! I hope yall have enjoyed your weekend because it's back to work tomorrow. I had a great week. I purchased my first car and I love it #BigGirlPurchase (If you didn't know, I had a wreck a couple of weeks ago and totaled my car). I had a good weekend as well. I spent time with my boyfriend yesterday. We went to see The Photograph and it was a great black love movie. Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield were both amazing.
Moving on, I enjoyed a great service at church today. We had our Black History Program and the youth dept. did an amazing job. If yall would like to know, I attent Greater Fellowship M.B. Church in Sheffield, AL where Dowand Malone is the pastor. We have one more church service next Sunday before we officially move into our new building on March 8. The Lord has definitely blessed us at the Ship and I'm excited about what's to come.
If you didn't know, I have a new hashtag where I will showcase my outfit every Sunday called #StylishSunday. Today, I'm showcasing my outfit from different brands including Its Fashion, JCPenney, and Shoe Dept. First, I'm wearing this chic, sweatshirt-like top from Its Fashion. I love the slit-detail on the sleeves and they also have different color pearls aligned along the slits. My mom actually gave this to me. Its Fashion has a variety of pieces for casual wear that are very cute and affordable. This sweater was actually $20.
Moving on to the jeans, yall know I love my Universal Thread jeans from Target, but today I'm wearing jeans from JCPenney. They are from the brand Arizona and they are very affordable and have a nice quality. I bought these about 3 or 4 years ago and they still have that same great fit as when I bought them. Arizona carries tops, jackets, swimwear, etc and it's very size-inclusive. I bought these jeans for about $15.
As for the shoes, they are Jessica Cline and they are sold at Shoe Dept. These booties are still available and they are on sale for $16.98. They are available in regular and wide width sizes. And for my accessories, I'm wearing a double-layered chain from Its Fashion. It has different charms including a key, heart, and pearl. It paired perfectly with the sweater. It was purchased as a set so it also included a matching charm bracelet and pearl studs. I like my accessories simple and cute. A little touch of simplicity goes a long way.
